Handheld Portable Nebulisers and Accessories

Handheld Portable Nebulisers and Accessories

Ready to unlock elevated levels of freedom? Say goodbye to respiratory restrictions and hello to peace of mind – all thanks to our selection of portable nebulisers. Whether you’re scaling a mountain, exploring the beach or taking on the everyday, our medical devices provide the confidence and comfort you deserve.

There are three key types of nebulisers that can deliver respiratory relief: Jet Nebulisers, Ultrasonic Nebulisers, and Mesh Nebulisers. The jet-powered version can provide a larger residual volume of medication, but it’s also bulky and requires a power source. Ultrasonic nebulisers are effective but cannot be used to deliver proteins or suspensions due to heating issues. Unlike both of these options, mesh nebulisers are an ideal solution: portable and fuelled by both vibrations and micropump technology for effective aerosol production.

Why Use Our Portable Mesh Nebuliser?

Designed for on-the-go use, our ultrasonic mesh nebulisers make life easier. They’re quiet, discreet and incredibly easy to use, made even simpler by a handheld, ergonomic design. Ideal for those managing chronic lung conditions, our mesh nebulisers can be used by both infants and adults for instant respiratory relief. Micropump technology enhances aerosol production without interfering with medication, increasing efficiency while delivering consistent results.

Product Questions

What is a Nebuliser?

Put simply, a nebuliser is a machine that turns liquid medication into a fine mist, ready for inhalation. They’re usually made of four components:

  • Nebuliser chamber – a small plastic container
  • Nebuliser machine – an air compressor
  • Air tubing – length varies between nebulisers
  • Mask or mouthpiece – designed for easy for inhalation

What does a nebuliser do?

The air compressor forces air through the liquid medication inside the chamber. As a result, the liquid turns into a fine mist that travels through the connecting tube and is breathed in through the facemask or mouthpiece. This is used to treat the lungs quickly and directly.

Who should use a nebuliser?

Most people who use a nebuliser have been prescribed regular inhaled medication. You might also use a nebuliser to inhale medication designed to clear your airways or treat a specific infection. They’re used by hospital staff in case of emergency, at home for more effective treatment or if you can’t use an inhaler due to other health conditions. Mesh nebulisers are also used to make treatment easier for babies and small children.

Why is a portable nebuliser useful?

For those managing asthma or another chronic lung condition, a portable mesh nebuliser is an ideal solution for on-the-go use. They’re handheld and can fit easily into a rucksack while you’re out and about, all while offering battery-powered relief whenever you need it.

What does a nebuliser treat?

Nebulisers are used by millions of people around the globe to treat a wide range of ailments, primarily long and short-term lung conditions. A portable nebuliser could allow you to access your liquid medication prescription quickly and easily, no matter where you are.

The list of conditions that a nebuliser machine can treat includes:

  • Bronchiectasis
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • COPD
  • Asthma
  • Pulmonary fibrosis
